As a company, we are completely committed to the Health & Safety of our employees, customers, the general public and anyone else who is involved with any work which we carry out. All our tradesman are issued with a working and frequently updated copy of risk, COSHH & CLAW assessments covering all aspects of the construction industry.
We complete risk assessments at the start of all jobs, in some cases a method statement is also required, and for larger projects, risk assessments are carried out at various stages at the project. All our employees are supplied with all PPE and are required to wear it. The wear of PPE and completion of risk assessments is something that we regularly monitor by carrying out random spot checks to ensure that employees are adhering to the strict H&S regulations that we have in place for the welfare of both themselves and others.
To show our dedication to Health & Safety, we hold Health & Safety meetings with all our tradesmen on a Wednesday morning, where we give in house training on Health & Safety matters, this is also an opportunity for us to update our tradesmen with any internal matters or company developments. We also hold further Supervisory meetings once a week on a Thursday.
With further training also taking place, such as training with in showing our employees how to extinguish fires competently and safely. As well as Asbestos training, our training is a continuous programme aimed at providing as much training as possible to keep our employees in a safe working environment.
Not only do our own employees work along side the guidance of the Health & Safety manual, but also any sub-contracted workers are issued with the manual and all the stringent guide lines which we have in place.
Sub-contractors are treated like our own staff to provide continuity to our clients, following a full Health & Safety induction they are included within the Wednesday morning H & S meetings and are part of the continual on and off site training and provided with the same PPE as our employees.
